Dzięki pkeuro.com wiemy, że Mike Adams (Dreamcatcher) w magazynie PCzone powiedział o nadchodzącym Painkiller: Overdose: Also, for multiplayer we´re hopefully going to have six to eight new levels, on top of the multiplayer levels from Painkiller. Old favourites like the stake gun and the Painkiller weapon itself will be in there too. Nie tylko tryb singleplayer zostanie wzbogacony, będzie od 6 do 8 nowych map dla trybu multiplayer oraz będą do dyspozycji bronie, do których się przyzwyczailiśmy z poprzednich części.
